Oh, isn't everyone just so fond of Spring? The good weather, the beautiful flowers. Wonderful? Let's examine that.

First, that "good" weather. Really Spring is just a big tease. It's nice, it's nasty, it's nice, it's nasty. Everyone's so tired of bad weather and being stuck inside so we venture out and there's the sun! Hooray, a beautiful day. But before sunset, the clouds roll in, pushed by a biting wind that drops the temperature and chases us to the warmth of our hearth.

And then there's all the emerging flora. Lovely, right? Well, yes beautiful but not without a  price. The pollen count rages as the wind whips a microscopic menace into eyes and noses. Aaaarrrggghhh!!!! The sneezing is bad enough but oh my poor itchy eyes.

Ah, the love of Spring is truly blind. Every year is the same, you always think you love Spring, well think again. You've been duped! Don't fall for the poetry and romance of this schizophrenic season.
