Windjammer Café - The pan shot didn’t work right but it came out looking like an art graphic so here it is.

Sailing from Seattle

We rolled/toted our luggage to check in.

Long, long registration lines before boarding (well, there were 2,200 of us all wanting to board the ship at the same time) but it went smoothly and in less than an hour we were in our stateroom.

A couple of hours later we did the drill where everyone dons life vests and finds the assigned muster station in case of emergency. (The staff guy enjoyed Carole’s arty decorated shoes.)

First visit (of many) to the Windjammer Cafe.

Then to deck 9 (open air) as we set sail.

Did a little more exploring and then back to our to stateroom to unpack.

Our state room attendant Lissa? stopped by to say she would make up the room at 9a And 6p each day.

View from our stateroom.

We were scheduled for main dining (6pm) so off to our first evening meal in the dining room.

Our head waiter Marilyn and assistant waiter (sorry I don’t have his name) & music combo.

View from our dinner table.

Wonderful dinner (as were all meals ) then more exploring and back to the room to watch the scenery go by.

And it was evening . . .
